Reviews and Ratings
I found Jabiru to be a convenient stay while exploring Kakadu. The location is great for visiting nearby attractions, and the lodge provided basic yet comfortable accommodations. However, the shared facilities were quite limited for the price we paid, and I believe they could either refurbish the cabins or lower their rates to match the offerings.
I had mixed feelings about my stay at the lodge. The location is great with easy access to beautiful nature spots, but the cabin we stayed in was in need of some serious updates. The service was quite good, with helpful staff, but the facilities and accommodations left something to be desired for the price we paid.
The lodge rooms were reasonably clean and comfortable for a short stay, but the shared bathroom was quite far for late-night visits. The noise from neighbors was noticeable, but the outdoor dining experience by the pool was great for the kids. The lovely pool area was a highlight, although it was too chilly to enjoy in June. Additionally, I was surprised that there was no breakfast option on-site, but we found a delicious buffet at a nearby hotel. Overall, it felt a bit overpriced for what it offered.
We had a mixed experience during our stay. The campground was well maintained with clean amenities and a lovely pool area. However, the service at reception wasn’t friendly, and the shared bathrooms were a bit far. Overall, it was a decent place for our needs, but there were some downsides to consider.
I had a lovely stay at the hotel, enjoying the beautiful natural surroundings while being close to all the major attractions in Kakadu. The accommodations were decent but felt a bit overpriced for what they offered. I appreciated the convenient amenities and efficient services, but the dated bathroom in my cabin was a significant downside. Overall, it was a nice experience, though a bit on the pricey side for the quality of the facilities.
